What We Do Is Secret focuses on jump starting your students’ own collaborative projects even before we visit your school. This intensive program is designed to bring more visibility to your department within your university and community. Through these projects, your students will experience first hand how to create and cultivate their own audience, how to maximize their impact in their community, how to build successful collaborations, and how to create the job they want.

As the music industry continues to evolve, we too must continue to rethink how we prepare our students for a life in the Arts.  As educators, we are at our best when we’re inspiring others. To prepare the next generation of artists, we must go one step further: We Must Get Our Students to Inspire Their Community.

On the surface, the typical residency offers workshops, master classes, and performances. While these may be great, they usually only attract and impact a small segment of your students and rarely make a lasting impact on the community.
